Imamura is a Michelin recommended restaurant in Ishinomaki, whose chef and owner- Imamura first came to the city as a volunteer after the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011. The concept of Imamura is that they serve meals in which the food producers are visible to the customers. From the earthenware bowls to the sashimi platter, from the wine to the rice, Imamura is closer connected to the pottery craftsman, fisherman and rice farmer, so that he can convey the passion of the producers to the consumers.
